When the material you are removing is coming up easy, you can easily speed up the machine and plow right through.
When the material is really stuck hard, you can slow down to let the machine’s back-and-forth action work on the material to get it up without jumping over the top of it.
If the machine does jump up on top of the material, you can now immediately back up and take another bite by simply reversing the machine instead of having to stop, tilt the machine back, and pull the machine back to take another bite.
With these improvements the 465 VDC can tackle the hard-to-remove projects that are beyond the capabilities of self-propelled strippers that don’t have quick reverse and variable speed controls. |
